Any construction or demolition activity, such as building roads, bridges, flyovers, subways, or remodelling, generates construction and demolition debris. Concrete, plaster, metal, wood, plastics, and other inert and non-biodegradable materials make up the majority of it. A portion of this material is disposed of in the municipal waste stream. These wastes are big, heavy, and take up a lot of storage space, whether on the road or in a common garbage bin or container. Huge piles of such trash, which is also heavy, are sometimes piled on roadways, especially in large projects, causing traffic congestion and disturbance. Demolition wastes are heterogeneous mixes of construction materials such as aggregate, concrete, wood, paper, metal, insulation, and glass that are typically polluted with paints, fasteners, adhesives, wall coverings, insulation, and dirt.
