One of humanity's and the planet's greatest difficulties appears to be effective waste management. Increased municipal solid trash has come from the continued trend of industrialization and economic growth, particularly in densely populated cities. It's an issue that's only going to get worse, with current estimates estimating worldwide trash generation from cities alone at 1.5 billion tonnes, with a projected increase to 2.3 billion tonnes by 2025. The issue is important because the growing amount of garbage has a negative influence on every part of society. Failure to address the problem strategically and sustainably results in long-term environmental and public health disasters that have a negative impact on national economies. Solid waste management (SWM) has become a serious issue for many urban local bodies (ULBs) as a result of increased municipal solid waste (MSW) generation per person as a result of urbanisation, industrialisation, and economic expansion. In densely populated cities, effective SWM is a huge difficulty.
