Agricultural Waste Recycling

Agricultural Waste Recycling

Agricultural waste (manure, oil, silage plastics, fertiliser, pesticides, and herbicides) is defined as undesirable waste produced as a result of agricultural activities. Agricultural waste from agro-based sectors including palm oil, rubber, and wood processing factories has more than tripled. Bioactive chemicals abound in agricultural wastes. These wastes can be used as a raw material in numerous researches and companies for the manufacture of various goods such as biogas, biofuel, mushroom, and tempeh. The utilisation of agro-industrial wastes as raw materials can lower production costs while also lowering pollution levels in the environment. Solid state fermentation is used to produce biofuels, enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants, animal feed, antibiotics, and other compounds from agro-industrial waste (SSF). Through SSF methods, a variety of microbes are employed to create these useful compounds.
